How we started.

JIMS Ocean was built from over 20 years of hands-on field experience across marine vessels, FPSOs, offshore platforms, shipyards, ports, and renewable energy systems including HVDC grids — gained across projects in the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and North America — and a clear conviction: offshore technical support can be faster, more reliable, and more transparent.

After years on complex automation, control, and power system projects, we saw firsthand how slow response times, fragmented vendors, poor documentation, lack of real-time visibility, and disconnected data systems cost operators time and money. Not occasionally — routinely. And the people paying the price were the offshore crews, the asset owners, and the engineers trying to hold everything together with shrinking teams and tighter deadlines. This is exactly where our digital technology makes the difference — connecting field data, automating reporting, and giving operators the visibility they need before problems escalate.

We exist to close that gap — as a partner that speaks the language of offshore crews, engineering teams, and management alike. Not a vendor that shows up, does a task, and disappears. A partner that understands what's at stake when a system goes down at 2am 200km offshore.
